It is with great sadness that I have to share the news that Mihaly "Michu" Meszaros, the man who played ALF when his full body needed to be shown, has passed away at the age of 76. He had been in a coma for several days before his passing. The news of his passing quickly spread around the world. I'm proud to say that in the biggest newspaper in my country of Sweden, his passing was on top of the entertainment section:

There is currently a GoFundMe page where fans are asked to help pay for his medical bills and funeral arrangements. You can view the page and donate if you wish here.

Thanks for all the entertainment you've given us over the years, Mihaly. May you rest in peace.

turns 4 today, on ALF's 29th birthday! Unfortunately, there have been no more news regarding the new ALF movie to get excited about. The site has had 700 more unique visitors, despite the lack of updates on the site over the past year. Life has been pretty hectic lately with me going back to school and becoming a father for the first time. Hopefully I'll find time to make more updates as we near ALF's landmark 30th birthday in 2016. Thanks again to all of you who visit this site!

*September 22nd, 2014*
As of today, ALFanatic has been online for 3 years. Despite few updates about the movie that is in the making, this site has been visited by a thousand more unique visitors, which is 200 more than last year's additional 800 visitors. As always I'd like to thank those of you who visit my fansite and keep coming back.

*February 3rd, 2014* ALF
along with other 80's icons such as Hulk Hogan, Jason Voorhees, Cliff Clavin from Cheers and Poncho from CHiPs were featured in a commercial for Radio Shack during the Super Bowl XLVIII last night. This is great news, as it is the most watched event of the year in America. This time a record 111.5 million viewers tuned in to watch the Super Bowl and since the commercials are extremely popular, due to the companies trying to make them as entertaining as possible for the audience to stay in their seats, a lot of those millions who tuned in to watch the game last night also got to see ALF back on prime time! Check out the commercial for yourself here!

That's not all, ALF stuck around and shot another commercial for Radio Shack where he was the sole star and it was posted online during the Super Bowl. You can watch that commercial here.
